I tried to put one of the new seals in the back door today, they are too small for the opening. I had to tape it in. Anyone have the right number for window seals? I need to replace it before the glass falls out while driving.1966 Sportvan Deluxe 230 3 on tree (work in progress) Now 283 small block

I looked up the number on the seals, it is for a C10 panel, not the G10 Van.
This Rear Window Gasket Set fits 1960-1966 Chevrolet C10, C30, K10 and GMC Series 1000, Series 2500 Panel and Suburban models. Fitted gasket provides a formed, seamless seal. Designed from original part so it fits correctly. Replaces factory #3761128.
The seal I need is $82.60 for 1 window?
This Stationary Window Gasket Set fits 1964-1970 Chevrolet and GMC Van models. Fitted gasket provides a formed, seamless seal and accommodates locking strip. Designed from original part so it fits correctly. Replaces factory #3869107.
I am looking for a cheaper alternative. Any help would be appreciated.Last edited by Russell; 10-16-2019, 10:15 AM.1966 Sportvan Deluxe 230 3 on tree (work in progress) Now 283 small block

I put one in yesterday and it fit pretty well.

I had to order 2 rolls, 1 roll did 1 back door window, 1 large side window and 1 small triangle window.Last edited by Russell; 09-15-2020, 10:04 AM.1966 Sportvan Deluxe 230 3 on tree (work in progress) Now 283 small block

Thank you!
Im just doing one window so the door will match again.
Pulled the pop out off to get frames made...3 years ago.
I talked to a glass guy and he wasnt so optimistic on reassembly of the pop outs but did say to come back in a month.
I will be soaking the strip and using dawn for slippery-ness...
...pics to follow.Mike

The part from Amazon was $50 for 25 feet.
I did one window and have 20 feet left over!
Results were great.
