    Need a 2nd gen windshield & seal

    In need of a windshield for a 68 I just picked up, will also need a new seal for it.

    Any help or info is appreciated.

    the rubber is the same part as a 66 chevy truck without chrome, it`s available from all the classic
    truck parts companies, lmc, brothers,and classic parts, the windshield I had a local windshield installer
    get me one, cost me 210.00, hope this helps

    I thought..

    I thought that the 2nd gen used a different gasket. It was my understanding that the 66 C10 windshield gasket fit the first gens. Where's Mac?

    you are correct in assumming that the second gen windshield rubber will fit the first gens,
    I have personally used the same gasket on both vans, I test fitted the flat glass in my 64 and then used the very same
    gasket or rubber to install the windshield in my 69.
