interesting ad: 1966 chevy van... anyone know what 'vi' means?

    http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/va...985845337.html

Seller states several times in the ad that this van is "Vi". He seems to want to make that point known and uses many exclamation marks to unsure our understanding that "This van is Vi!!!!!" I am honestly without a clue what 'Vi' means. He also says after doing alot of work, 'Then you could v I it no problem". I am really confused. Maybe this is some cool van slang terminology the kids are using these days that I am not familiar with?

In addition, he mentions "New pedal grips... Vi important" and also states "Replace gas pedal piots...again vi"

    ???????? "vi" ????? anyone have a guess?

He states "Replace broken reverse lens.... 2 yrs to find". Apparently it took him 2 years to find a replacement back-up light lens for his '66 van. Wow, 2 years.. that is a very long time. If that is true, I feel bad for the guy. He dedicated a substantial part of his life searching for that elusive back-up lens... I imagine it must have been like an epic quest, a great journey to find this precious lens, possibly with a rowdy band of warrior dwarfs coming along, maybe he was even accompanied by a grey wizard.

Too bad he was not on vcvc, because we could have found him one in 2 seconds. They are the same as 66-85 stepside chevy pickup and you can order them from LMC or brother's truck parts, classic parts or about a dozen other suppliers for about $5-8 each.

I even found an NOS one for $10.

    Wink Vi Explained

    Kooky
Vi is an abbreviation for Vivandiere Imparigitate. This means that included with this van purchase is a female camp follower with an odd number of fingers on at least one hand. Come Joe, you know this stuff... (Sound of fingers snapping) Get with the program, this was taught in class. Were you half asleep tugging on an imaginary collective or what? These Craigslist postings are serious business matters, written by intelligent people, we need to stay on top of this.

I think it stands for 'vehicle inspection'. In Canada if you do not register a vehicle for 5 years (?I think) the title expires and it has to have a 'visual inspection' of all the safety equipment and vehicle condition.

I bought my no door out of Canada with an expired title and had to get it inspected before I could get a new title.

Oh, Vi is also the linux command line editor for writing programming scripts, but I don't think that's what he's talking about.

    Cool

If you look close at the Chevy van logo the V does drop down to the same plane as the 90.
Making it look like a V90.
The van is NOT a G20
    More want add entertainment

The Batter Tray was available only with the police package, for the donut maker.
