Hello to the group, how do you feel about later vans? a 95

    Hi
I love my chevy van, got it new in 95 and have polished off every blemish on the white paint since I've owned it, 268k miles on it now and I have done every kind of repair including find rust under the underfelt thats below the rubber cover. I just took a long vacation trip up the hiway #1 in california.. ran fine but I developed a noise and darn it was as simple as the lower mount on the shock absorber was loose, why did that have to happen on vacation of all time.

Welcome to VCVC Leonard! We are fans of all kinds of different vehicles, but VCVC.org is specifically dedicated to '64-70 Chevy and GMC G-series vans only.

You are more than welcome to start discussions regarding your '95 in the "Off Topic" section of the forum. We have a few members who have later model vans who have long running threads there.

    Yeah, I got it.

I can see the focus of the club, I can also see the designs are very classic and original. The early designs
shapes are very appealing and the greater population rarely sees them.
Some of the early shapes remind me of vans I have seen in 60 70's England.
I am about to start a shade tree
repair that I have never done before. I have paid for larger jobs recently and just can't bare another large repair bill. I'll post my concerns in the other forum. Thanks

    HI

Just checked your blog entry, I always remembered that odd way the windshield was framed, the red van, a different design for sure!
