Lightbulb November 17th BBQ Fiesta Island

So... I am thinking of having the last BBQ of the year... I want to have a get together in November at Fiesta Island. Maybe 12-3pm Sunday the 17th?
    Nothing set yet
... so some input on a date will be appreciated.
I will provide Hotdogs with all the fixins', potato salad & cupcakes for the sweet tooth in us all.
Bring you, your friends and your vans. Also bring drinks you like and anything you would like to add to the table? fruit? veggies? anything you fancy.

There is Vans and Coffee on Sunday 11/10, but can't go. So I would try to attend on 17th.

Well thanks for trying! I know its hard when you are up North. I don't drive my van up to L.A. as I am not sure about the stop and go on the freeways
and the traffic. My 3 on the tree gets me tired in traffic! I like the easy lane...LOL
    Next Year for sure!!

Thanks for all the vanner participation at the BBQ today! Absolutely great weather and great people.
Many thanks to Mike (Van-itti) and Laurie for coming down with some delicious cobbler that Mike makes!

Cobbler!?! Nobody said anything about cobbler. Mike, you have been holding out on us! Hey Vanner68! Are we going to let them get away with this?

    Beauty day!

It was a good turn out. Nice weather and good food! Thank you Jacke for everything!!
There are quite a few SD locals. Not a club but just vanners getting together.

Our van ran great. I-5 can be a parking lot at times but we sailed right thru.
No problems. About 2 hours one way.

That cobbler is a special family recipe from our days at the B&B.
Would be happy to make you some!

I just happened to be in San Diego for the weekend for my daughter's birthday visit to Lego Land. Visited my wife's grandpa's grave a few minutes from fiesta island at the veterans cemetery on Sunday. I did swing by with my wife and daughter afterwards but without my van, to see who was still at fiesta island. Apparently I missed van-itti and Russell. I did get to see Jacke and Rich VANagain and their vans. I didn't realize the other late vanner with the gold sportvan was possibly SandyVan until I got back on the road. Nice to finally meet you. Nice seeing you guys and your vans. Lots of progress every time I see them.
