    emblems

If anybody has any mint emblems..... Im looking.
I need a bowtie for the front. Is there anyone making repops? If so, I cant find it.
Also, the Chevrolet script for the back doors.... someone tried to steal mine and broke it in half on the letter R.
people suck. Im trying to get that restored, but the finish is pretty pitted anyways.
Let me know what you've got for sale if you do!!

    Thanks,

    Amy

Thanks Man! I didn't know the script on the back was the same as suburban!!

We went so far as to cover the original mounting holes when we did the body work just in case we had to use a different emblem on the back.
I wish I had done that for the front bowtie as well.

weird. my rear script emblem is nothing at all like the suburban emblem.
I wonder if mine is even stock. Its a cursive script, not block letters.

    Cool

    Hello Miss Amy.
1st & 2nd Gen rear & cargo doors interchange (Bolt right on).
However small details like the inside handles/hardware and the door scrip tag light assembly is different.
What year van are we working with here ?
This information is help full when searching for needed parts....

    Corvairs?

Isn't the rear door script on a 1st gen the same as Corvairs? That's what I was told. Does it look like any of these: http://www.corvair.com/user-cgi/cata...?show_page=296
    1969 G10 108, 307 V8, TH350, 3.08 gears
1966 G10 Panel, 194 I6, three on the tree (I think it's an old Ma Bell van)
