i fitted a 12 bolt posi from a b body car to the van, it has the same width, i understand that the car 12 bolt is actually stronger than the 12 bolt truck, plus I already had it. and I picked up a set of 15 x10 rallies for it. I think 295 50 15 will fit without rubbing inside.

Real cool Dan. That's a lot of work (thank you Captian Obvious)! I bet you would be great at creating rat rods out of interesting parts. But, best to see your talents invested on earlies! Hope you have been well.

Ya they are not cheap. $390.99 US so for me with shipping, duty, and exchange to Canadian dollars they cost me $610.00, but they are a pain in the ass to make by hand and very time consuming.

to the face of the axle flange they are the same. I mounted the wheels on both rear ends and measured between the rims on each and they are the same.

The measuring tape is all ways right...
                                Sorry I miss typed.
I had a complete rear out of a pick up here It was defiantly narrower.
                                The fit looks great..
Your inner rocker also cleaned up nice.
