1st Gen Front shocks new Rancho RS 5000

They are new , forgot we modified the shock mounts when the disc brake conversion was done . They were $105 . $30 plus shipping. The pair I put on my van work great . Bill

Hey Bill, do those replace the original for size or do they stretch out a little further?
I tried going Rancho in the beginning because I needed a longer shock but they got to fat for the Disc and swaybar setup.

I put the shocks in yesterday, they are much stiffer than the Monroe's I had. They did not fit in easily, the top end did not fit without trimming the rubber and sleeve about a 1/8 inch or more. The first shock took about 1 1/2 hours to install trying to get the top in, the bottom was no problem.
After getting the first one to fit the other one was much easier.

Ah Ha ! your running the BZ bracket setup with the Nova rotors. I'm running the M1s. Through trial and error though I learned you do not want to make lower shock mounts attach to the fender well. They get their strength from the curve in the sheet metal up top.

They were not easy to get mounted but my wife and I took it for a ride and it feels so much stiffer, it's nice. Not to stiff but very little bounce on the dips and speed bumps I went over. I'm very happy with the ride now.
