only one door on the pass side and it will be a window door . started working on the install foe the second gen dash , I have done this mod before , im trying to use up some of the parts I have collected over the years

im going to finish up my 79 3rd gen van first , don't have much left to do to it , may take a couple weeks to button it up , its what ill be driving to the nats , or at least that's the plan lol

That’s my plan. I bought a parts van (with Dennis “BigD33”) from Mike Donahue to get the side door frame off it, with the intention of adding side doors to the drivers side of my van. I love the idea of a ‘walk-thru’ VCV. I’ll obviously show progress pics when I start next year. Oh and did I mention I got a NOS window door from John Vear’s collection?

James that's great . its nice to see you got a great part from johns collection , ive always liked the idea of a 4 door walk through early . I have a 03 chevy express with that set up and love it

heres my donor truck , gonna use the rear roof and back of the cab , I don't want my roof to resemble the rear of the van , I love the looks of that little duck tail on the sixties gm trucks

I also love the 64 65 66 pickups. short bed fleetside with all the trim are imho the best looking chevy pickup

the ambulance being referred to is my m679 jeep fc 170 based marine corps ambulance , yes they are quite rare , theres approx. 11 know to exist 1 is in England the rest are here in the states , I have two of them
