    Doghouse lid

    Here is a pic of the one on the 64 custom Goden Oldie
    it also has a doghouse wrap(kind of see in 2nd pic)

          Hi Frank,
          Here is the old 1st Gen Lid that was covered in Vinyl. I traded Don for the 2nd gen one next to it. My box needed the correct size lid! I had it powder coated. I do have another lid which I am going to have upholstered, not sure what style I want? My first van had tuck and roll on the lid cover... That one was done in strips. Nice to have the padding.

            I didn't do anything. thats the way I got it in 2013 from a Ford guy in Indy. It's just been setting waiting for me to get to it

                  I used the same material around the dash and inner window frames, wheel well boxes etc.
                  It's easier than trying to prep the area's for paint.

                        The material is able to stretch some. Spray glue on back of material and doghouse, wait till tacky and it sticks together tight. Start in lower area of center and work it into the shapes with fingers. The outer corners running down had to be cut and glued down to hide seams.
