When I see a paperclip icon and (attached images) how do I open them?
If you dont know who sent the email DONT OPEN ANY PART OF IT!
The wonderful computer programmers attach all sorts of bad software/malware stuff to emails.
Even if it looks legit from a company it can contain ransomware which is a nightmare.
Usually there will be a link or icon to download/view the pic.

Im not referring to an email attachment. I should have said (in a vcvc thread)

When I see a paperclip icon and the words attached images at the bottom of a post I assume that their are images to view so I mouse over to the icon but it will not open.
Ah. Those are the images that were uploaded to a post, but not used "inline" in the post. It's hard to describe it more than that, but I know what you are talking about. You can't click them.Originally Posted by doc yukon
