    1965 Master Cylinder cover question

1965 brake master cylinder cover - Research question if you please. 1965 owners, if you believe you have the original master cylinder cover would you be so kind to comment if it has the wording "Delco" etc. stamped on it; see example photos.

I am thinking that service replacements covers had the wording & the original cover did not - I am looking to disprove or support that hypothesis... TIA.

As far as I can tell, no markings. I have no reason to believe this cap is not original.Click image for larger version.

I've checked 3 of my 65s and they all have the cover without the AC Delco lettering. Does that count as 1 response or 3? ;>)

    One More

I checked another 65 and it was equipped with the same "No Lettering" master cylinder cover. This one took a little longer since I had to navigate through a bunch of wasps. They sure like the hot weather that's been going on here lately.

    Smile

They just like 65 Chevy Vans Mark. Like the ones you sent me in 07 in the Vanataners
My 64 Nodoor & 65 (Rat ina Box) MC both been changed(AZ) don't remember any lettering on caps
Think the 64 had a screw on cap when I got it in 1977. I'll look at the others
