    70 camaro z28 wheel value

Thinking about buying a van & it has a set of 70 & up Z28 steel wheels on it.
Was wondering if anyone knows what they might be worth?

I poked around the internet & some prices I've seen seem pretty high (800-1k).
Of course we all know what someone asks for & what they sell for can be a lot different.

    Any info is appreciated.

    Thanks

The higher prices you will see in the Z28 world /forums etc. Condition is everything. a used wheel can be $100 to $1000 depending.
I see the average wheels selling for around 300 USd each and that is without any trim . The trim rings and center caps set of four I see for around 400 to 500 for a repop set

Thanks M1D, unfortunately the seller decided to trade it for another ride rather than sell to me.

i have discovered that the z28 wheels you are discussing are not very durable wheels
they are known to bend easily, I have had two sets of them and half were bent allowing the
tires to wobble, something you can`t see until they are spun.

Those are what was on my 67 Camaro I purchased back in 1975, and they came on my friend's mom's brand new 75 Nova, cool wheels IMHO.

Here is the Z28 wheel (which I covet as well):

There are a set of them painted gold to match my van on a derelict 80s El Camino in my neighborhood, but it is "not for sale". It hasn't moved in over ten years. Sigh
