What is that horn button from? not a second gen. Do you need a Chevy or a GMC button and do you have a 2nd gen steering wheel

    Tough Item

Very few of those have I seen, fewer still intact. 2nd gen and hard to find. That base would be a good item to have 3D printed.

"What is that horn button from?" .... it is from the steering wheel on my 1967 gmc handibus

"not a second gen." ......oh my bad i though 2nd gen was 1967-70

"Do you need a Chevy or a GMC button" ....... as posted, i dont care. would just like to fill the whole

"and do you have a 2nd gen steering wheel" .....i have the wheel it came from, its on my daily driver. a 1967 gmc handibus, which generation its from is now in question.

what gfladuc is showing is the only second gen horn button I've ever seen. But like these vans are, anything is possible. If others are saying that plastic GMC button is a 67 G series horn button than maybe it is.

I have spars of only the common one with the rubber donut type mounting.

No1raskal says your button is from a 67 to 68 deluxe pick up truck. its possible the GMC handibus came from the factory with that wheel we already know these vans are an assemble of other vehicle parts. anythings possible but it should show in the parts book.

Hey steady, do you have a part number on that button? I have a factor GMC parts manual. I cant produce good enough images for this post but I will check the part number you have to see if it is in the factory GMC parts book. The image in the parts book shows only the assembly with the standard rubber bushing mounting
