Welcome RingVan. The floorplates you mention may well be the handiwork of one of our more talented metal working members, (Matchstick), who unfortunately may not be currently available for making replacement pieces. Matchstick will hopefully return in the future to aid us by using his talents to create pieces that help members restore their VCVans.
Matchstick my friend, we miss you, where are you?
Best wishes.

My house is only a few miles from Jose's old house right off the 405.. Im working with a dustless blasting guy now to do the underside of the Sears van. Ive been grinding and scraping for years now and it killed my shoulders. He says it would be less expensive if one side is higher so he wouldn't have to crawl under it so I'm trying to figure out how to do that safely without tipping it over.... without a rotisserie it's a challange. If I get it done before you get here I'll find something for you to help me with if not the drinks are on me...Safe travels mi amigo.
