Do those after market truck mirrors let you see the face of the mirror from the driver's seat? I've never installed one and I see it has a straight neck compared to the smaller swan neck mirrors.

I wanted to do that so my mirrors would be larger. I knew it could be done! If anyone wants a set to remake I have a perfect set of mirrors I will sell them at a great price if interested! They are very nice... need to be cut and welded. Here is an old picture of them they fit the door mirror holes perfect as stated. SOLD SOLD
                        PM if interested

Cool. Stainless steel? I bought an original set of truck ones years back seeing that the swan mirrors were hard to come by and these had the same bases. My plan was to cut and weld like you did but make my own swan mirrors. I’ve since obtained some swans, but still would like to play with copying one just for kicks. Thanks for sharing. Good job making them work
