Of course check part sizes before drilling!
Hey Mikes I am redundant - I started the post then hit enter & see Mikes reply ...
Guys, I looked up both numbers, and the Dorman is for later Dodges, and the NAPA says it's not for my van; is that why the drilling is needed? I saw a video of a 67 Chevy van using the Dorman number, and they worked, so just checking before I purchase.

Thanks for the quick replies!
Yes, there are no direct-fit replacements. The Dodge hinge pin is just a touch larger and has been the standard for our repairs for decades.
A good vise for disassembly helps. Heat and a punch got them to come apart. Keep the kids away as there may be swearing.
Drilling them square and parallel is tricky without a good drill press or mill.
The bushing might need to be "trimmed" a little so the leaf fits in the knuckle. I just sanded it and kept trying the fit.
Dont remove too much material.
The pins will need to be trimmed for length if youre concerned with the stock-ish appearance.
They are about 1/4" too long.
