    If I Had A Million

    Again for some discussion...

If you had unlimited funds to put into your van,
    what would you build?

The ULTIMATE Mystery Machine with the best of everything. " paint, drivetrain, disc brakes, power steering, a/c, sound system." Part of the interior decor would include an animation cel or two from the classic SD show.
Then... I would build up ANOTHER 66 Sportvan as a daily driver, also with the best of everything mentioned previously. And both would stay safe and maintained in the fully equipped shop I'd build for them.
That reminds me, gotta p/u some FL. Lotto and Powerball tix, gotta be in it to win it.

I would first buy another first gen in the best shape I could find, then I would build it just like the one I have! I am happy with color, drivetrain and how the interior is started/planned but lack of funds is evident without looking too hard. 'IF' the million dollars could ONLY be spent on the van, I would widen it 2 or 3 inch's and lengthen it 6 or 8 for just a little more room while still looking like a shorty. maybe a 6 speed manual while its apart.

Probably take the whole million just to get mine streetable again.

I probably wouldn't change much of my planned mods, I'd just be able to do them at a higher quality.

Its funny. Even if we had the cash most would build their van just like they have built it.

    Me? I have visions of a 4x4 "Bug-out" beast...

Yeah, I would just build mine with the same intentions I am now, but get it done much faster and on a higher level of quality. (Not doing all of it myself) Plus, it would be painted by now.
Oh and maybe throw an upgraded, built LS drivetrain, as opposed to the stock 4.8 LS1 that I put in 2yrs ago.

I think I would have built mine exactly the way I have. I know that sounds kinda dumb, but I went all out on what I felt my dream van should be.
