Well if some body has a clean 1st gen with an poor running 6 banger in it this has every thing you need to do the swap.Thats if the engine/trans is any good. Can't hear it run with pictures.Looks like the curved 2nd gen windshield/back window is missing now.

There is the current bid worth of parts on this.......Er A...I can't think of any thing to nice to call this......Orphan......Wookee

    Thumbs down

All you would need to do is take off the radiator cap and drive a new van under it. I have to puke now...

I have to admit that I like the idea of a Chevy van/pickup. Yes, this is a butcher job. But since it would be hard for me to take and chop up a good solid van, being that they are getting harder to find, this one is already started. Of course that back window job would have to go and replaced with a 1st gen rear door section. Add sheet metal panels to the bed section for a double wall construction to prevent any dings to the outside walls. I guess I have always like the Econo/Pickup, but am a true blue Chevy guy. Dodge did it, Ford did it, why not Chevy. Even the Corvan offered it. I just think if it was done right, it would look great. I have started with worse, many times. But then again, this is just my opinion.

well Greg, theres the running gear for you 1st gen.......

$510.00 is a cheap price for a good running used late modle engine tranny combo.
Of coarse the $1000.00 to get it shipped down to you would hurt the price......................Wookee

I believe you could turn it into something greg. I like the idea too but like you said it is a butcher job as is.
