    Remote resivoir

    Another option for our vans. This remote master resivoir is available from Scotts hotrods and eliminated the need for a floor plug

    is it connected to the original m/c? or does it need a custom m/c as well

      Mine is plumbed to a wilwood master but I've seen pics of original master lids drilled and sealed tightly

        Summit's description says it will fit most OEM GM masters. Might be worth contacting Summit or CPP to verify.

                The Master cylinder "hat" in that kit is set up to work with dual hold-down hoops across the opening and our masters have a single lengthwise hoop.......I made my own hat assembly for permanent installation that holds pressure so it can also be used for power bleeding.....
                I didn't think a separate reservoir was necessary because the master holds plenty of fluid
                My setup fills from the power bleeder through the clear plastic lines which I use as sight glasses....

                Was discussing brake bleeding on the FB VCV forum and realized that I never posted pictures of how I fill and bleed my master cylinder, since there is no access
